Art Tapestry: Perfect For Adding Style and Elegance To Your Home

A wall art tapestry is perfect for creating a unique look for your home. Tapestries are more attractive because of their texture and artistic depth. The way designs are woven on to a fabric provides tapestries a more exuberant presence unlike artistic paintings. This becomes more apparent when you look at a landscape, scenery, or religious tapestry. It is because of this reason that these tapestries are so popular amongst art lovers, homemakers, and interior designers.

When you display an art tapestry of any theme, they are bound to attract attention from your visitors. Wall paintings have become an extremely common entity in people’s homes; therefore, many tend to ignore their presence. On the other hand, a beautiful woven tapestry piece demands attention from the viewer because of its unique presence. You would understand the significance of wall art tapestries only when you experience their marvelous presence right in front of you.

The art tapestry offers beautiful and breathtaking images that can add style to your home. The scenes range from pristine and magnificent landscapes, events of historical importance to religious faith. You would love to keep a tapestry in your home as it would enable you to admire the beauty of nature, appreciate the significance of an historical event, or even regain faith in spirituality.

A uniquely designed art tapestry can transform completely the entire look of the room it is displayed in. It adds perspective to the room in the form of a visible scene that blends well with the decor of the room. It makes your room larger than life because of its beautiful and lifelike presence. For instance, if you keep a tapestry displaying a forest or lake, it would add a serene and natural feel to the room decor.

Whether you wish to fill a large space with a piece of art or add a decorative touch to a small room, you could use an art tapestry for both. Wall art tapestries are available in a variety of size, shapes, and designs to adorn any form of room setting. Interior Design Style and Colour Use for the Home Office

Interior Design Style and Colour Use for the Home Office

There are two ways that you can go about selecting the general decor of your home office: either follow the style that prevails in the rest of your home, or treat your office as an individual space. Choosing which way to go is a simple task requiring answers to only a few questions.

> Has your home been decorated in one style that is visible throughout?

> Is your office easily visible from other rooms/areas of your home?

> Does your work suggest a style of its own?

Based on the questions above, here are a few simple ways to help you easily achieve a pleasing decor in your home office.

If you are going to treat your office as a part of your home, using the same decor and style, your job is already half done. But remember, you don’t have to use the exact colour scheme or mood. You can modify what you see outside your office to blend smoothly. For instance, you can reverse the main and accent colours; you can use the same colours but in different proportions; or a different level of formality. Because you are decorating an office, it is likely that you are going to want to treat the style differently than how it appears in other areas of your home, and this is normal. Don’t be afraid to create a variation in the atmosphere — it is only the general style you are aiming to respect.

For a home office that is open within an area of your home, you are going to have to be a little more cautious. In this case, you must respect the style seen around your office, but at the same time you should definitely aim to create a sense of separation between your work space and living space. Visual separation does not mean building a wall; it means creating a new environment within the existing one. Some ways of creating visual separation include changes in ceiling height and/or floor level (a step up or down); a room divider placed to look decorative rather than confining; colour changes such as reversing the main and accent paint colours used on the walls; and furniture placement.

Placing furniture in a way that the layout separates space is fairly simple, but don’t forget to play with your ideas on graph paper first or else you may find yourself still rearranging while you should already be at your desk. Consider using a large bookshelf or storage cabinet as a room divider — the back of it can be decorated with fabric, paint, a collage… or place furniture back-to-back to create the sense of two separate zones. Keep in mind while you are working on the layout that you don’t want to feel that your office is, for instance, in the back of your basement — it is at the back of the basement. Just as words can be played with, so can space.

A home office that is to receive a style of its own is a fun thing to work out. You should aim to have a bit of who you are visible in the decor, while creating a visual sense of what you do. This is not a cubicle in a large office complex — this is your office. If you have a love of bold patterns, classic cars, angels… incorporate them into the decor even if they have nothing to do with what you will be doing in your office. At the same time, your office should say more about whay you do that “I work at a desk.” What do you do at that desk? If you are in the computer business, have things around that suggest that, like an enlarged and framed comic strip that has something to do with computers. If your office is actually more of a workshop and you do clothing alterations, incorporate your supplies into your decor: display spools of thread in a rainbow-like pattern, hand a rod a few inches from a wall and drape some fabrics over it for an ever-changing backdrop. If you work in the travel industry, have a model plane suspended, and display items or pictures symbolic of some of your favorite destinations; if it won’t get in your way, have a beach ball in your office, or make a “sandbox” to hang on the wall by gluing sand to the back of a shadow box and gluing small shells onto the sand.

When choosing the colours for your office, there are a few basic points to consider. Yellows, reds, and other very warm colours in large quantities can cause you to feel thirsty. Blue is very relaxing, but be careful not to choose a bland grey-blue that can actually lead to feeling tired or restless. The best way to go about selecting the colours for your office is to choose three colours; use one as a main colour (for instance on the walls), another as the main accent colour (visible in a pattern on a rug, drapes, desk accessories…), and the third as an accent colour appearing only in splashes here and there (such as flowers in a vase, a couple of photo frames…). At this point your colour scheme is set, and all you have to do is keep in mind some basic points of colour psychology. A dark ceiling will feel very low; mirrors and reflective materials make a space feel larger; too many colours, especially bold ones, can cause a feeling of clutter even if there is none.

A final point on the topic of colour and style: materials such as woods, stone, and metal can be incorporated into any colour scheme — although they may affect the style, they will not clash. A natural pine desk will certainly give a different look than a mahogany one, but either will match any colour scheme; ditto for stainless steel and brass, and marble and concrete.

Have a Luxurious Home on a Tight Budget

Luxurious homes, inevitably, evoke one word from every aspirant of a luxurious home. And that is – ‘expensive’. Normally, luxury homes are viewed from the amount of money invested in furnishing these homes. We tend to believe that royalty of luxurious homes come from money. But, very conveniently, forget that some astute thinking and of course, little money can transform our homes into a royal castle. In fact, if we trace the journey of some of the luxury furniture, we can easily find out that the things that were commonplace in ancient homes have been rendered luxurious in the form of antiques. So, present day’s luxury is yesterday’s normalcy. So, why not try to make it a present day’s normalcy?

The first thing to take care of is to avoid buying fakes. If antiques are your choice to bring in luxury to your home, never settle for cheap furniture or look-alikes. For instance, an exclusive Amish made furniture could be your ideal choice but never get duped by unscrupulous dealers, who make a quick buck out of the ignorant buyers. Always opt for a reputed dealer of Amish furniture who provides adequate guarantees and warranties on your purchase. Similarly, if dealing with Antique furniture dealers, always choose the one who has a good reputation both online as well as offline.

The next thing to plan is the art works. While expensive paintings by renowned painters may be out of your budget range, you certainly need not lose heart. A beautiful oil painting or water-colored painting can be an impressive alternative. The artwork need not be a “branded” one. The important things are that the painting should (a) gel with the overall scheme of the room; and (b) not look like a poor replica of some original artwork. As long as these two conditions are met, the “brand” won’t matter much.

Flooring comes next. A decent priced wool carpet or stone tiles can provide the look and feel of luxury to your home. A carefully crafted handmade carpet is any day better than artificially created custom-made flooring.

You must be extra careful while spending on furniture requirements. One thing about luxury furniture is that it acts like a seductive temptress. You have to be extra careful to resist the temptation of spending too much on luxury furniture items. A better option is to look for the reproduction pieces manufactured by furniture makers, like Baker Furniture or Century Furniture. Kitchen with granite finish can be inexpensively royal.

Affordable luxuries also come at a price but this should not daunt you, as the satisfaction of having a luxurious home is much more valuable than affordable luxuries. Apart from buying new items, you can also mould your existing furniture into a luxurious outlook. Silk pillows and tapestry finish are good options for affordable luxury. Decorative and inexpensive plants could lend the oomph factor in the drawing room. And most importantly, never clutter your home with excessive furniture. Always allow some breathing space in your rooms.

Southwest Mexican Rustic Home Decor Never Goes Out of Style

Southwest Mexican Rustic Home Decor Never Goes Out of Style

For the living area, you’ll want to coordinate Mexican-style wall decor with the room colors and furnishings. Living rooms that are decorated “Mexican style” often have a rustic look and feel with dark-colored flooring and cream-colored walls. Hardwood flooring with Mexican rugs seem to go together perfectly. If your sofa and chairs have solid colors, accent them with a Mexican decor throw and pillows. Choose rustic wood end tables and decorate them with southwestern decor lamps and matching rustic sconce light covers at the entrances or to enhance your favorite wall painting. Add Talavera pottery to the corners of the room, tabletops, fireplace, or bookshelves.

For the kitchen, simplicity is the key to a welcoming southwestern decor. You can use almost any style of dining table/chairs – wood, metal, glass, etc. Just be sure it will blend with your other decorations. Buy a unique southwestern style China cabinet and fill it with unique dishes and Mexican glassware (margarita or blue rim drinking glasses) and other similar dinnerware. Enhance your kitchen with Mexican style hand towels, mitts, curtains, wall shelves, salt/pepper shakers, and floor rugs.

For bedrooms, use the same decorating principles as the living room, but with fewer items. A southwestern Mexican rustic home decor in the bedroom should be simplistic with a few items scattered here and there. Perhaps a Mexican rug, lamp and wall painting will suffice. You’ll want to leave the bedroom color options open for your bedspreads. In the bathroom, Mexican decor should be bold in color with bright colored bath towels and washcloths, Mexican floor tile and bath rugs, a couple of pottery items and a unique southwestern style vanity.

Moroccan Bedrooms: Create Your Harem Style Room

Moroccan Bedrooms: Create Your Harem Style Room

The bedroom is the most private and your first and last resort for relaxation. Unfortunately, most people use the bedroom to just sleep. A bedroom if properly utilized can be a place for relaxation, meditation and even have a small massage table. Everyone comes back home tired after their day at work to get some rest. Rest doesn’t necessarily mean sleeping. Rest can be anything from watching television to getting a relaxing massage or playing checkers. Every bedroom has almost the same furniture, which is a bed and tables, some decorations, curtains etc. So what is the best way to convert your bedroom into a relaxing suite and at the same time add some color to it?

First let us understand that the bed is a place where you take rest. To make it more comfortable you can use double cushions and colorful bed sheets or a bed spread. One of the finest ways to redesign your bedroom is by using Moroccan bedroom decor. Today, Moroccan decor is an extremely popular interior design option for most modern homes as well as eco homes. This is because the Moroccan bedroom decor includes the use of dramatic colors as well as toned colors, which bring to life the beautiful and intricately designed patterns on the elegant Moroccan fabrics. Converting a bedroom into an exotic Moroccan dream is an exciting as well as a tedious option but the result can be absolutely magical. You can choose anything from the exquisite Moroccan furniture to the colorful Moroccan bedding and other decorations that will set your heart on fire and bring out the deep fires of passion.

Moroccan bedroom accessories come in a huge variety to satisfy every taste and fit in snugly in every bedroom. Most of the Moroccan bedding designs are in spicy colors and can be customized to match the color scheme on your bedroom walls. You can use a Moroccan bed or make one on the ground. If you make a bed that has the minimum ground clearance then you can give it an earthy feel and touch with more browns, beige and other earth color

Bedspreads-Pillows:

You can add some equally colorful pillows or cushions to give your bedroom the ethnic look. Moroccan fabrics are soft and have embroidered silk will that will provide that exotic look. For example, a tribal bedspread is hand made and stitched. It has detailed embroidery and features small mirrors amidst a hue of brilliant colors than can vary from gold, sage, or chocolate on a cinnamon background. Imagine the impact of such a color; it will give your bed an earthen touch and feel. If you don’t like bright colors then you can look a Berber bed spread, which comes in tones of blue, purple and sage. Absolutely relaxing for the eyes, it has intricate designs that are hand stitched.

Nightstands, Accent Tables and Shelves:

Zouaga Furniture is a typical Moroccan design from the Berber tribal mountains of the Atlas. Hand painted furniture with bright colors and improvised designs and shapes from shelves to the world renowned hexagonal tables and nightstands. Moroccan nightstands have gained popularity in the past few years, mainly made with Mousharabiya wood (hand carved wood) they are also available with wrought iron screens.

Wrought Iron Screens, Dividers and headboards:

Moroccan wrought iron screens can be used for many different uses… As a headboard, room dividers, fireplace screens, wall decor, to hang a lamp from, as a balcony screen… well you get the idea

Moroccan Lighting:

It is almost like being pampered with royalty and to bring the bedroom to life you can splash the walls with relaxing colors and use Moroccan accessories like the henna lamps to brighten it. You can also add a center table or a dressing table with Moroccan designs and intricately cut through the wood to make it look rusty and dreamy at the same time. For the creative soul in you can transform on of the Moroccan carved hexagonal tables into a piece of lighting itself. If you have used a wrought iron screen as a headboard you may want to consider using a matching wrought iron ceiling chandelier.

You can also add some really sensuous and mystical touch of Moroccan design to your bedroom with mood lighting Moroccan candle lamps. These lamps are not to be used as just showpieces; they can change the entire decor of your bedroom and give it a touch of warmth. You can choose from a wide variety of Moroccan lamps and lanterns that come with exotic designs and beautiful colored glasses. You can place them on the bed table or hand them by the bedroom entrance.

The flickering flame from a Moroccan lamp will add fuel to the fire of romance and remind you of a faraway dream. Don’t just sleep… Dream on…

Fusing Scandinavian and Tuscan home style

Fusing Scandinavian and Tuscan home style

The Scandinavian influence has long been admired and imitated in homes around the world, the décor a blend of style and simplicity. Light shades of beige, whites and greys soften the room and give a feeling of sophisticated elegance. Neutral shades create a harmonious feel throughout the house. Natural fabric such as cotton and linen are best used for styling in the Scandinavian way.

Fusion Style

In my opinion, Scandinavian pieces work incredibly well within the Tuscan home. Woven in with old terracotta tiled floors, marble sinks, stone and ironwork, you can create a great atmosphere. I’ve always preferred a very practical working kitchen with freestanding furniture and open shelving, which is typical of both Scandinavian and Tuscan homes. Simple glass jars displaying the contents make for easy accessibility and look colourful and interesting too. They can be picked up very cheaply in local markets and hardware shops. Saucepans hanging from the ceiling on a simple iron frame look great and the lids can be displayed against a wall, placed behind an iron or stainless rod. It drives me mad if I have to rummage through a cupboard with all that clattering and pans falling out in disarray. You can bet the very one you are after is at the bottom!

Local handcrafted baskets look super hung on the wall with tea towels rolled up inside and give a country feel. I have found local Tuscan basket weavers will gladly incorporate an extra basket loop for hanging! Fruit and vegetables also look wonderful displayed in these baskets after you bring them home fresh from the market. Much to my husband’s despair I really do have a ‘thing’ about baskets. I love the old ones that come in such a variety of shapes and sizes, but the local handmade ones are also hard to resist with their beautiful twisted handles. You can find them displayed on stalls at your local Tuscan sagra, and at other festivals.

By combining interesting styles – such as Scandinavian – and adding a touch of ‘treasure’ from the past, you’ll soon develop an individual look. One that will compliment your home in Tuscany.

Comfort Zone

These days, I choose decor and home furnishings that I can really live with; items that work harmoniously with one another, creating a greater sense of ‘comfortability’ somehow. Most of us lead busy lives and our home should be our haven, a place where we feel re-energised a place we can truly feel relaxed. No other place inspires me more than Tuscany; this rich tapestry of earthy colours, delicious food, wine, hills, vineyards presently laden with fully rounded deep purple and green grapes, glorious sunflowers worshipping the sun and it’s passionate vibrant people.

Bedroom Wall Decor – Fun Step for Your Distinctive Style

Many people neglect the bedroom and put more focus on home decor to the more visited rooms of the house. There are four types of bedrooms that maybe in your home. The masters, babies, teen and guest are all places where someone relaxes or sleeps. Today we are discussing the master bedroom where most of all your personality should shine through your choices of décor. This is your place of peace in other words your sanctuary.

One of the first things you notice when you walk into a room are the walls. If your walls are drab and bare so is the feeling that encompasses you. You need to make one or more walls the focus point to your bedroom. The walls should be designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. The bedroom should become your stress free haven.

Acquiring any form of wall décor is a fun step in the process of turning a house into a home. For any new project it is important to first determine your destination. Then determine the best path to reach your end vision. This quest can be difficult but I do hope to provide you with some guidance that will allow you to make the decisions that fit your home décor interests.

There are a vast variety of options to allow your walls to come alive with exuberance. From innovative lighting techniques to a collage of your family portraits can give you the outlet to let your creative juices flow. You need to choose a theme; color scheme and style then let your imagination run wild. Most importantly the beauty of the end result will be totally unique and will express your personality.

It use to be a privilege of the very wealthy to spend on original artwork. Today on the internet or at craft stores you can find a wide range of inexpensive canvases, paints, kits and frames to create original striking pieces of art. This outlet lets you become expressively creative in harmonizing with your other décor in the room. You might consider painting a small picture on one wall. Certain finishes such as faux can be used to create a pattern of design to make the wall vivid and interesting. This technique will inspire all those who view it.

Stenciling offers the opportunity to achieve a personal finish. Stencils have grown in popularity due to the ease of applying the design using the proper techniques. You can buy stencils and pick your dominant colors from the rest of your furnishings and put them in a restrained way on your walls.

Wallpaper murals are a great alternative for those interested in a picture as the focal point but do not have the talent or time to do this themselves. Wallpaper murals can transform your bedroom into a spring garden or into a balcony that over looks the ocean. Many murals use certain colors that can be drawn deeper into your room which will extend the texture and dimension of your room. What ever theme you choose the wall mural will add beauty and truly make your bedroom a sanctuary.

Lighting in a room is very important. There are three types of lighting general, task and accent. The use of these different types of lighting will change the way you see and feel in the room. Using accent lighting will add drama and will highlight the areas you wish to bring into focus.

Mirrors, wall sconces and clocks add a touch of glamour to any space on your walls. Bedroom mirrors create the illusion of more space and elegant living. Wall sconces with mirrors add a great deal of texture, interest and modern design to your walls. By adding a clock to an empty wall can make your walls go from boring to brilliant. Wall sconce candle holders with their mystical glow can change the entire mood of the bedroom. It can change your plain bedroom into a haven of romance or allow your mind and body to relax. Fragrant candles can make you feel like you have been whisked away to another place and time. They add a soft subtle light and distinctive style. Wall candle sconces are one of the most affordable decorating options that will never go out of style.

Bedroom wall shelves makes for an appealing wall and keeps you organized. The wall shelf gives you additional storage space and helps you display your books, knick knacks and collectables. Most wall shelves are easy to attach to the walls, increases the value of your home and adds a decorative element to the room.

Wallpaper is ideal for making your bedroom walls take notice. Light colored wall paper is perfect for smaller rooms. For larger rooms darker shades give you a cozier feeling as long as you have sunlight streaming in through your windows. Horizontal stripes makes the room look wider while vertical stripes make the room look longer. There are abstract designed wallpaper that can give more of a contemporary look and a floral print always gives you that pleasant effect. Wallpaper borders are an essential accessory for wall décor that is sometimes over looked. A wallpaper border is a strip of wallpaper that runs parallel to the floor on the wall at the junction where the wall and floor meet. They give a sense of finality and completeness to the wall. Some wallpaper come with matching borders. Some are of patterns while others are solid but both will enhance and highlight your walls. Borders seem to add that dramatic and sophisticated look and finish.

A beautifully woven wall tapestry may be all you need to pull the room together. Most of us can’t afford to go on vacations every day but a tapestry with a stunning theme can take you away for a short time. They seem to elude tranquility; romance and a means of escape that we need for our bodies to replenish daily.

There are no limitations in front of you. Let what’s inside of you inspire you. You will rise with the end result and triumph with an exquisite masterpiece.

Wall Hangings Add Depth and Style

Wall Hangings Add Depth and Style

With so many styles of art décor to choose from when looking to add to your home’s aesthetic interior appeal, one should take a look at wall hangings to add depth and a sense of style to the room. By using this particular style of décor, you are can create a cross categorical appeal to the room by coupling this style with other forms of traditional art and artifacts. Many have chosen to couple this form with pictures and paintings that will generate a theme throughout the room, creating a more vibrant setting for visitors as well as the home owners themselves to view while using the room.

What Are Wall Hangings

Wall hangings can be a variety of many types of works of art; however, a more popular style of the present is the wall canvas that can be framed or hung with rods. This particular style of tapestry can come in almost any cultural atmosphere or environment. For instance, if you have a home in the Southwestern United States, you may choose a Navajo style wall hanging that would go with your style of home. These types of hangings would play on the particular cultural setting in which you live and most likely go with your style of home as most homes in this area are of the adobe mud or brick buildings with the terracotta roofing systems. However, if you are in a more pastoral setting, a wall hanging from the Belgian era may better suit your needs as they use images of bountiful landscapes instead of the harsh colors of the desert environment.

Are Wall Hangings More Expensive

The answer to that question completely depends on one’s particular style and tastes. One can find the mass produced hangings that he or she can purchase for relatively small amounts of capital; however, one can spend copious amounts of money on a single tapestry if her or she so chooses. With any style or form of hanging, one can find a work of art that adds style to their home that will fit their budget. There are many works that can be found online or in art and home décor retail stores throughout the United States. One can view what the style that he or she likes online and then go and search retail shops if he or she does not wish to purchase online.

Types and Styles of Wall Hangings

Although a wall hanging may seem to be in a category of its own, one can find almost any era or cultural style to fit his or her needs. If the romantic French tapestries are what you wish to display in your home, you can easily find a hanging from this era. If you are looking for a canvas for your office that would show themes of honor and respect during simpler times, the medieval wall hangings would most likely be what you are looking for. Most retail shops will carry a wide variety of styles of canvases that have themes from almost every era that will suit almost any taste. With all of these choices available, one should not wait any longer to begin searching for canvases to create a warm and home like feel to the interior of their abode.

Tapestry – A Style Just Right for You

Tapestry – A Style Just Right for You

If you have never considered a tapestry as part of the wall decor of your home, you have been missing out from one of the most beautiful and individual art forms of all time. Although tapestries have been around for many centuries, the variety or selection of themes available today is by far what is so exciting about these woven works of magnificent art.

In the beginning tapestries were hand woven and took many, many hours of work to produce the final product. This left little to choose from in the form of tapestry subjects. The early tapestries were either likenesses of royalty or images conceived from Bible stories.

Down through time, with the invention of machines to produce tapestries, this art form became much less time consuming. The result was that tapestries could now be made with the same or better quality in a variety of different art topics and could be duplicated many times over for all who appreciated fine art at a reasonable cost.

Today you have choices. More choices than you could possibly imagine. So you have to ask yourself, “What am I looking for in a tapestry?” Only you have the answer to that question. The answer lies in the theme or basic decor of the room in which you plan to hang the tapestry.

There are several factors involved in choosing a tapestry for your decorating theme. You have to know style, genre, color and theme. Once you have answers to those, you now have to decide on size. But let’s not get too far ahead. We should go over this in deeper detail.

I’m going to start out with tapestry styles. When we talk about tapestry styles you have, but are not limited to Fine Art, Decorative, Modern, Vintage, Abstract, American Folk Art, Antique Traditional, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Arts and Crafts, Classical, Cubism, Figurative, Impressionism, Native/Primitive, Neoclassicism, Post-Impressionism, Pre-Raphaelites, Realism, Renaissance, Romanticism, Traditional, Transitional, Viennese and Expressionism.

Try not to be overwhelmed by the long list of styles. This is good because you have something in this list that will complete the decor of almost any decorative theme a room could possibly have.

Now let’s explore genre. Genre actually sets the mood or topic of the tapestry. Here your choices are, but not limited to Action/Adventure, Alternative, Classical, Contemporary, Contemporary Still Life, Country and Rustic, Drama, Fantasy, Novelty, Patriot, Romantic, Still Life and Traditional Still Life. There are more genres, but this give you a starting point to explore.

Next you will want to consider color. After all, your tapestry should fit in with the color scheme of the room in which it hangs. With color you have black and white, blacks, blues, reds, browns, creams, golds, grays, greens, oranges, pinks, purples, tans, whites, yellows and multi-color. This is just a partial color list to give you an idea of the choices you have.

Last, but not least, you will want to consider themes to match the environment of the room you will proudly hang your tapestry. The theme you choose will set the entire mood or feel of the room. Whatever emotion you want to express will be brought to the forefront through the theme of your tapestry.

Here are some of the themes offered on these beautiful woven works of art. You have Entertainment, Fashion, Gambling, Nudes, Coffee/Tea, Wine, Fruits/Vegetables, Cuisine, Angels, Portrait, Figures, Botanical, Bouquet, Mediterranean, Backyards & Patios, Countryside, Desert, Farms, Floral/Plants, Formal Gardens, Fruits, Lake & Pond, Landscape, Nature/Outdoors, River and Streams, Seaside, Southwestern, Still Life Plants, Towns, Trees, Tropical, Cityscapes, Architecture, Storefronts, Architectural Detail, Buildings, European Buildings, Houses, Restaurants/Bars, Children’s Art, Antique Maps, Maps, Animals, Birds, Fish/Marine Life, Jungle Wildlife, Birdcages, Dogs, Horses, Insects, Shells, Tropical Birds, Wildlife, Medieval, Native American, Victorian/British, War/Military, Mythology, Pottery and Vases, Antique, Sports, Holidays and Special Occasions, Motivational and Religious.

Although the list of themes above is quite large, it only touches on a small part of all the themes available on a wall tapestry. I provided you with this list of tapestry themes in order to give you an idea of the big picture (no pun intended). I wanted you to see just how large a selection is truly available to you.

The great benefit of adding a tapestry to the decor of any room is how the room comes alive with emotion. No matter what style, genre, color or theme, you will always have a feeling of pride when you enter a room that displays a tapestry proudly.
